Hi, I'm Rhyy.. and this is me.

Living in the heartland of Kangaroo Island, I love venturing out & exploring everything that our beautiful Island has to offer. I look out the car window and can envision a photoshoot with the tall gum tree, crashing waves or with the sunlight streaming down.

I appreciate the power that photography has in holding our precious moments, frozen in time.

I'm a wife & Mum of 2 young boys and a little girl who has just joined us earthside - Trying to lead a slow & wholesome life yet still embracing the busyness of the everyday. Taking each day as it comes.

Becoming a Mum has definitely fueled my passion to create experiences for couples & families to reconnect and hold space for each other. Documenting the chapter, you are in, as it is, naturally and full of fun.

What a journey Parenthood is.

Motherhood though - a connection you can't put into words.

Every story is different.

And every story deserves to be documented.

Since becoming a Mum, I realised how many moments I'm present in, but not captured in. It really made my heart sad. It made me think about all the other Mum's out there who are behind the camera and very rarely in front of it. Our children deserve to have us in the photo.

We are worthy enough to be in the photo.

I have created a space for Mother's to be present and be captured. To be able to have those moments frozen in time, and for them to become the art displayed on your walls.

I'm a self-taught photographer who loves capturing life as it is. I originally explored the art of photography for creative portraiture, but soon realised I held a strong passion for capturing people through their stages of life. Being able to freeze a moment in time for families and couples, how special is that.

My imagery is art for your walls - the heart of your home.

Kangaroo Island provides such a vast landscape of natural beauty, and I love that I can incorporate that into my imagery for people to hold onto forever.

I love that I am able to create memories for the locals of Kangaroo Island and as it is a well-known travelling destination, I'm lucky to have met & capture many people from around the world.

I'm laid-back in my approach but very intentional about what I capture for people. Through movement & connection with each other, I use gentle guidance and natural prompts to create soulful & fun imagery.
